  We booked two nights here and arrived, as planned, on a Sunday afternoon. We approached a few ‘waiting on’ staff near the main pool to ask where reception was, only... read more to be told that ‘reception is closed on a Sunday’.
Never fear, the very friendly and polite member of staff zipped off on his bike and swiftly returned to tell us we could now check in, directing us to the almost invisible reception. We were then guided to our pristine, beautifully appointed two bedroom apartment (with two bathrooms, fast WiFi, washing machine and gigantic balcony) by a helpful man on a golf buggy - the only way to get around this enormous complex.

We were expecting your typical holiday resort - a few pools, bar, evening entertainment, huge dining room to accommodate the masses that these dozens of high rise buildings surely must house? Nope - a very different feel. The majority of the apartments are residential; holidaymakers are scarce (maybe this is different in the height of summer).

Instead, we experienced a charmingly ‘local’ feel. We enjoyed an hour in the basic indoor pool and the kids (10 & 8) played in the soft play and climbing wall, with few others around. Then a leisurely early dinner and drinks (very reasonable prices for everything, including cold Efes and milkshakes). Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh and tasty.

We had paid in advance for breakfast, which was served in a cafe on the small onsite ‘retail strip’, for want of a better description. (This area includes a pretty well stocked supermarket, in which my 10 year old was thrilled to find Oreos, Pringles and Sout Patch Kids!)

I wish I had taken a photo but we ate it too fast! It was approx. £7 per person and consisted of a freshly made mushroom omelette, accompanied by small dishes of egg mayonnaise, tuna mayonnaise, thick yoghurt and (? maybe olives?) and slices of warm bread - delicious! A delicious orange juice was included. We experienced multiple power cuts there due to storms, however the staff were so kind and apologetic, offering us alternatives and still preparing the actual breakfast once the power returned afterwards.

We were all struck by how different this place was (hence the title of the review!), but really loved the feel of not being herded around with masses of other tourists. My 8year old declared the Caesar Resort ‘the best hotel ever!’ I would definitely return.

The pools, amenities, gym, all the other facilities... read more are located within your reach but not so tight and close quarter as in all-inclusive holiday villages. If you are planning on a long-term investment, there is the option of buying a flat as well. (If you are a retiree, the area is very peaceful-if your family is young and lively, the place has all the vibe. Very cleverly designed project)

Why does the Senior management let this happen and not give some incentives to keep quality staff including the waiter services poor senior staff with no regards to the people using their services seen this many times getting to big and forgetting who is putting them there ?? The people.

As for the other amenities they are great just sort out the bar and cafe soon please.

Personally I decided I wouldn't buy a place there as I didn't like the architectural ideas. The communal space between the apartments built like a well, where the sound travels and aggrevates. Also the ventilation from the bathrooms goes through the windows into this above-mentioned longsuffering communal corridor.
There is an amazing mix of people from all over the world. Mostly russian speakers and from syria-iran. Didn't like the only supermarket, a tipical Turkish shop, if you know the perks.
The weather was perfect, a lot of sun, the sea was clean and nearly emerald, what else one need? More
